Place of Birth: Tameside hospital, although I'm keen to add I grew up in Saddleworth!

Status: Engaged to Mark Howarth on Bass Trombone

Occupation: Probation Officer and certified band geek

Previous Bands: Dobcross Youth, Wardle Anderson.

Most Memorable Banding Moments: Winning my first band contest when I was 10. There were only 2 bands in it, but we won and that's all there is to say on the matter! Winning the 2nd Section NW Area with Dobcross Youth in 2001. All my holidays with Youth band and playing at the Swiss Open with the Silver Band in 2006. Playing a monster of a percussion part at NW Area 2010.

Other Hobbies: Eating, drinking and generally being merry with family and friends. Supporting Huddersfield Town with my Dad. For credit I'd say "going to the gym" but you're supposed to enjoy hobbies aren't you?!

Achievements in Banding: Helping the Youth band get from 4th to 1st section. Playing at the National Finals 4 times in 1997, 1999, 2001 and 2008.

Musical Ambitions: Nail the tenor horn! Play at the Royal Albert Hall.

Ambitions in Life: To stay healthy and happy. Get married, start the next generation of band geeks. Travel to Australia.
